Publication Ethics Statement
A. Ethical Commitment
The Journal of Contemporary Research and Innovation (JCRI) is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures against publication malpractice. This statement follows the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
B. Duties of Authors
- Submit original and unpublished work.
- Avoid plagiarism, fabrication, and falsification of data.
- Properly cite all sources.
- Ensure all listed authors have contributed significantly.
- Declare conflicts of interest.
- Comply with ethical standards in research involving human participants.
C. Duties of Editors
- Make publication decisions based on academic merit.
- Ensure fair and unbiased review processes.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of manuscripts.
- Address ethical complaints and misconduct promptly.
- Prevent any potential conflicts of interest.
D. Duties of Reviewers
- Evaluate manuscripts objectively and timely.
- Maintain confidentiality of the peer-review process.
- Identify ethical concerns or suspected plagiarism.
- Declare any potential conflicts of interest.
E. Plagiarism Policy
All manuscripts submitted to JCRI are screened for plagiarism using similarity-checking tools. Manuscripts with unacceptable similarity levels will be rejected or returned for revision immediately.
F. Handling Misconduct
In cases of suspected misconduct (plagiarism, data fabrication, duplicate submission), JCRI will strictly follow COPE procedures. This includes comprehensive investigation, and if necessary, issuance of corrections, retractions, or notification to the authors' respective institutions.
