Dari Aksi Lokal Menjadi Solidaritas: Local Hero sebagai Katalisator Penguatan Modal Sosial

Abstrak

The phenomenon of local heroes has become increasingly relevant amidst declining participation in mutual cooperation and social trust in Indonesia. This article aims to conceptually analyze the role of local heroes as catalysts for strengthening social capital in community development. The research method used is a literature review with qualitative content analysis of various relevant literature sources. Key findings indicate that local heroes play a role in building trust, expanding social networks, fostering norms of reciprocity, and promoting sustainable empowerment through cadre formation, institutionalization, capacity building, financial independence, and awareness transformation. This article contributes to enriching the conceptual framework of social capital in the context of local leadership in Indonesia and emphasizes the importance of local heroes as key drivers of development rooted in local needs and potential.
